The main character in bad education is Mr Wickers, he is goofy and funny which makes the audience like him. He deals with simple situations in a comical way which makes them more complicated, this pleasures the audience as they would laugh at him and keep watching the different episodes as they want to see what he gets into next. The target audience would be teenagers 15+ because the different characters in the class all represent different teenager stereotypes, which the audience can relate to so this appeals them as it makes them feel involved with the plot and can relate to it.

It is on at 10 o'clock because it features adult humour which is not suitable for before the watershed. It features adult themes which is why it is on after the 9 o'clock watershed.

Friday Night Dinner is a British television sitcom which is about the regular dinner experience of a British Jewish family (the Goodmans) on each Friday night. The charters in the family are very "normal"  and very relatable to the audience so this pleasures them. The family is a very stereotypical family but the episodes always have a twist like a unexpected event happens during the dinner. This makes the episodes different and humours with also pleasures the audience and keeps them watching the episodes.

It is on at 10 o'clock because it features some humour which is not suitable for before the watershed. It also could be because by 10'clock, most families would have finished their own dinner as the tradition time is from 6-8 o'clock. This means the viewers would be able to watch the program in the free time they have after their dinner.
